At Phoenix, we believe that the best investment we make for our customers is in ensuring that all of our employees are properly trained so that they can carry out each job as effectively and safely as possible.
We require all of our technical personnel to be trained and/or certified in the following areas:

- OSHA 30
- OSHA 1910.268 – Telecommunications
- OSHA 1910.269 – Electric Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution
- CPR/First Aid (AHA)
- Bucket Truck Safety/Rescue
- Fall Protection
- Enclosed/Confined Space
- Railroad Safety
- Insulate & Isolate Procedures
- 3D Driver
In addition to the courses mentioned above, we also hold weekly safety briefs and monthly safety meetings for our entire staff. Our goal, is to maintain and constantly augment a corporate culture dedicated to safety awareness and proactive safety management.
In short, our safety policy is more than a page or two in our company handbook; it’s a corporate mindset.
Phoenix Communications understands the essential value of hands on training in helping our employees maintain the highest standards of safety during the performance of their work. This is why we have made a significant investment in an on-site training facility. Equipped with a manhole and poles, this facility allows us to simulate live bucket truck rescue and confined entry training.
We also have OSHA accredited trainers on our staff, and have long, established relationships with training vendors and professionals.
